‘Lettenburg’ is not only a place name but was also the location of a forward aid station on the way to, or returning from, the trenches in Diksmuide. Later, the destroyed farmhouse was rebuilt and then a little later, with the establishment of a pub there, received its first catering function.

Meanwhile, Jurgen and Sofie have been at the helm of the business for more than 16 years and have turned Restaurant-Grill Lettenburg into a renowned restaurant where, in addition to good food, it is also very pleasant to stay.
